Green Bay Packaging has built a state of the art facility switching to natural gas which will cut sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxide and particulate matter emissions by more than 90 percent. This was the largest expansion in the company’s history.
Team Industries fabricated a total of 7,322 spools for the project. The facility had limited laydown space for storage. Team was able to store spools until they were needed at site. As site requested specific spools Team loaded onto shipping frames which are then loaded onto flatbed trailers. Once at site the entire load is off loaded in one lift. Site could then unload and install and would return frame for future loading.
2,790 carbon spools and 4,532 stainless spools along with applicable supports. A couple of the lines required ID polishing to a cottonball finish which Team also performed.
Team and Miron created a very close relationship to provide these pipe spools on time, with minimal delay or rework.
Limetree Bay Refining, LLC is a large-scale energy complex strategically located in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. They will produce 200,000 barrels a day peak capacity for their restart. Team fabricated 2,984 pipe spools and 1,675 support details in a 6 month time frame.
